The educational project, the essence of which lies in creating a brand and its identity based on the combination of an object and the universe. The object and the universe were randomly combined, so today I present to you the identity for the brand of hairbrushes in the Star Wars universe.
Brand Idea
The name of the brand Organa is the surname of Princess Leia from the Star Wars universe, whose image served as inspiration due to her interesting hairstyles. This name is very similar to "organic," which, in turn, aligns with the creation of combs from natural materials such as minerals, wood, bamboo, etc. The idea was to connect the design not only with space and technology but also with the planets of the universe, each having its own flora and fauna.
Moodboard
Logo Idea
The symbol inside the circle represents safety, protection, and support. Many symbols in the universe are also arranged in a circular manner. The circle incorporates a fragment of a comb, defining the brand's product. The arched openings in the symbol are mirrored in the font of the logo, specifically in the letters 'R' and 'A.' The logotype font was chosen to resemble the logo and design of the Star Wars universe.
Logo Variations
Responsive Logos
Graphics
Pattern — a repeated symbol of the logo.
Graphic element — three lines forming a wavy strand of hair. It emphasizes the type of product the brand offers and adds recognizability to it.
Color Palette
Cleanliness, health, nature – these are the main associations that the color palette of the brand should evoke. Additional colors are responsible for positive emotions and confidence in the product. All colors are similar to those used in Star Wars movies.
Fonts
The font for the main text features thin rounded forms, harmonizing with the logo symbol and contrasting with the logo type. The font for the headlines was used in the typographic element of the logo due to its successful combination with the symbol and its resemblance to the aesthetics of the Star Wars universe.
